Aluminum has been produced in the Bolzano plant since 1936.
The entire area of Bolzano South was well known because of the presence of foundries since the early 1900s. The city is strategically located in relation to the German market, where many of the raw materials, used in foundries of this area, came from.
Aluminum is one of the most common and cheapest elements found in nature. It is a very light and environmentally friendly metal. Nothing is thrown away as it can be 100% almost endless recycled. Everything without losing its special properties: corrosion resistance and high electrical and thermal conductivity. In addition, aluminum is easy to process even at low temperatures. Therefore, it can be used in many areas.

- ZERO ENERGY WASTE thanks to continuous investments in replacing old lighting with the latest generation of LED systems, hydraulic pumps with low energy consumption and special high-efficiency gas burners
- WE CAST ALUMINIUM FROM RECYCLING for most alloys made by Aluminium Bozen
- ZERO KM PROCESSING, because the foundry and production mills are under one roof, this enables us to reduce CO2 emissions.
The high recovery of production’s waste or scraps enables us to belong to the group of companies, that are working with the circular economy; the effects on the use of new natural resources, and on our environment can thus be kept as low as possible.
Scrap control is ensured by a strict check-in procedure, including a 100% automatic radioactivity indicator.
