Our view of sustainability
Aluminum Bozen is sensitized to topics such as energy saving and sustainable development and is constantly committed to environmental protection. This is expressed in various ways in our company:
- WE GENERATE and USE CLEAN ENERGY, thanks to the environmentally friendly photovoltaic system on the roof of our production facility, which produces up to 3200 kWh per day
- ZERO ENERGY WASTE thanks to continuous investments in replacing old lighting with the latest generation of LED systems, hydraulic pumps with low energy consumption and special high-efficiency gas burners
- WE CAST ALUMINIUM FROM RECYCLING for most alloys made by Aluminium Bozen
- ZERO KM PROCESSING, because the foundry and production mills are under one roof, this enables us to reduce CO2 emissions.
The high recovery of production’s waste or scraps enables us to belong to the group of companies, that are working with the circular economy; the effects on the use of new natural resources, and on our environment can thus be kept as low as possible.
Scrap control is ensured by a strict check-in procedure, including a 100% automatic radioactivity indicator.
